New Software Preview at Photokina: X-Rite i1Profiler

The X-Rite booth at Photokina will be buzzing with people getting a first look at the NEW i1Profiler software from X-Rite. If you’re attending Photokina stop in to see the new interface and talk with our folks there about this exciting new product. X-Rite will be in Hall 4.1 stand I-021.
What’s New in X-Rite i1Profiler
We recently caught up with Tobias Rausch, product manager for i1Profiler software. We asked him to talk with us about some of the new features that we’ll find in this exciting new product. You can hear the 5 and a half minute audio interview here.
While there are lots and lots of new features and benefits for photographers using this new profiling software here are just a few from the top 10:
- New color engine allows even higher quality profiles
- New user interface with Easy and Advanced modes
- Multiple paper size options for targets
- Ambient light output profiles based on viewing condition measurements
- Iterative profiling allows optimization of profiles
Target release for this product is Q4 2010. The software is designed to work with i1Pro devices. You’ll be hearing a lot more about this product in the coming weeks. And if you’re in Cologne this week stop in and get a sneak peak.
