Are prints a crucial part of your photography business? Do you need to produce prints quickly for client proofs to drive sales? A new feature in the I1Studio will help you achieve quick results in five different toning styles.

In the new B/W Print calibration module you can create custom ICC profiles in five looks including Standard Black and White, High Contrast Black and White, Cold Tone, Sepia Tone and an optimized neutral tone for color images.

How to Achieve the Looks:

First open your i1Studio software and select the B/W Print module.

Next, select your printer, paper size, and describe the paper you are printing on. Press print to produce the first chart.

Use the i1Studio device to scan in the first chart.

The software will generate two more charts that you will need to print.

Scan in the two final two charts.

Next, select the type of look you want to produce in the style drop down.

Finally, name the profile and click save profile. We like to include the profile type in the name so we don’t get confused. Remember, you can make all five styles from this screen. After the profile is built instead of clicking home select another style and rename the file to produce the next look. Click home to head back to the main screen.

Apply these new ICC profiles to any image when you print to create a custom toned print.
