X-Rite Coloratti Adrian Weinbrecht, Commercial Photographer and Colour Expert, is recognized as one of Europe’s leading commercial advertising photographers, and on October 22nd he has been announced as technical director and co-presenter of Back to Front TV’s reality show for fashion photography. With a career spanning two decades and originally from Australia, Adrian is based in London and shoots assignments globally for a wide range of international clients, which include: Sony, UBS, BBC, Jaguar Land Rover and Adidas among others. “I love photography, every single aspect of it”, commented Weinbrecht upon his appointment to the role, “I also passionately believe that ‘photographs are made, not taken’.”The series developed by Willie Christie and Back to Front TV is a first for Britain and will celebrate the essential relationship between fashion and photography.

Back to Front TV counts the Royal Photographic Society as a headline supporter. With production due to begin in spring 2014, the show is ramping up resources ahead of announcing the Call for Contestants later this month.“This exciting new series gives me a great chance to share directly with our contestants and the viewers, experience accumulated over two decades,” explained Adrian Weinbrecht. “It’s going to be tough for our contestants, but also fun and rewarding, just like today’s commercial photography. This show will possibly be the most intimate look at what really happens behind the scenes on a photo shoot.”Christie and Weinbrecht will both present the show and share their creative and technical knowledge with the contestants. “We could not have asked for a better combination of personalities for TV,” commented Haider Mannan, creator of the concept.“Adrian brings a wealth of technical experience to the show – the contestants and audience, will both be entertained and benefit greatly from his understanding of photography – commercial and technical,” explained Willie Christie, executive director and presenter of the show. “We can guarantee that the contestants will have the very best technical knowledge at their disposal.”The show is executive produced by Back to Front TV, a firm that develops content among other production related activities; and is advised by Mannan Capital Partners.AW_portfolio
