by Jeff Lazell – August 11th, 2014
“For me a photograph is most successful when it doesn’t answer all the questions, but leaves something to the imagination”
X-Rite’s Where in the World is Your ColorChecker Passport? contest is running into it’s second month, so we wanted to take a moment to highlight the work of Greg Gorman. Greg is a world renown photographer and X-Rite Coloratti who generously agreed to not only provide the grand prize for this contest, but to judge the finalist entires as well.
Greg has spent over four decades mastering the art of photography, with almost countless iconic images to his credit. His portraiture work is wide ranging, but he is perhaps best known for his work “documenting that peculiar obsession with 21st century celebrity”. Not only is he a skilled photographer, but Greg is also a gifted teacher. He frequently holds workshops in his home and studio on the Pacific North Coast that have been called “the best of the best” by it’s alumni. To learn more about his workshops follow this link
